“You have taken account of my distress and put my tears in Your bottle.” Psalm 56:8

Anyone new to our Bible study may walk in and wonder why there are so many boxes of Kleenex tissue setting around.  The reason is because when we come face to face with the love of Jesus, and we bring Him our distresses and hurts, tears flow.  God has given us a way to relieve our distress with tears.  Those who can shed them are very blessed indeed.  I’ve always considered our tears as liquid love.  They often come when we pray for ourselves and others.  Our tears are important to God because they reflect the condition of our hearts before Him.  Your tears are so precious to God, He collects them in a bottle.  Whatever you sow in tears, you will reap with shouts of joy!  Psalm 126:5
